From our knowledge of the country we can, beside our photoexpeditions, also offer Tailor made travels to argentina. They do not have a specific photographic aim, but are more for the traveller that has an interest in Argentine for its beauty. Of course we can provide you with a lot of tips.
Currently Silvia is preparing short (1-2 day) trips in and around Buenos Aires. Shooting People at La Boca, or the desolate drowned city of Carhue. Therefore we added 'Short Trips & Courses' to the Travels menu. We try to keep you informed through that, but you can request for information through email. |

photo expedition to be part of the carnival, to live from inside, along with the locals, the most important, the traditional festival of the Northwest Argentina. This Andean celebration is full of native root’s rituals and ceremonies. Aborigine’s spirit that comes from more than 10,000 years ago and merged with the Christian dogma brought by conquerors without disappearing. Masks and customes will appear in the groups (comparsas) that cross the
streets, accompanied by bands of musician with traditional Andean instruments like tarkas, quenas, erkes, sikuris and big drums. We will see how they unbury and bury “the devil”, the figure that represents Carnival. We will hotograph the people invoking Pachamama (Mother Earth) with food and drink offerings so that she allows Carnival to come out her entrails.We will visit small and big villages at the gorge, to may register their life, their
environment and their history, all surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. |

Carhue, a 2 day trip |

Past. a 2 day trip to the desolate drowned city of Carhue, Argentina. This extreme environment still looks like the disaster took place short ago and delivers unprecedented photographic opportunities. Silvia will be in charge of this trip.
- day 1 driving from Buenos Aires to Carhue. Check in hotel and sunset shooting at Carhue

An expedition unique in its approach. In this expedition the participants share their knowledge. The input of the participants here is of great importance. For that we will have sessions nearly every day at the trip. If you want to come and want to learn from the basics we will help and teach elementary skills.
